Joining - International Students

"To influence our world we must understand it."

St. Madeleine Sophie Barat

St. Aloysius’ College places a strong value on cultural diversity and we welcome international students from around the world into  Transition Year so they can share their life experiences and culture with our girls and contribute to the learning within St. Al’s.

However, in the best interests of those students interested in joining us for the year, we strongly recommend parents go through a reputable placement service.

Whilst in St. Al’s our international students are placed with a family that lives nearby and are assigned a mentor teacher and a student liaison within the school.

Irish families living abroad and those from E.U. member states do not require a visa to study in Ireland.  If you are not a citizen of the E.U. you should check the visa regulations for your country. Further information is available from the Irish Government here

Should you have any questions about the admissions process for international students, please do not hesitate to contact our school office.
