A Special Visit from Bishop Crean

On Thursday, 5th November, we were delighted to warmly welcome Bishop Crean to St. Aloysius’ College.

During his visit, Bishop Crean spent time visiting several Religious Education classes and calling into the staffroom to meet members of our staff. In the afternoon, he joined our school community for a special prayer service.

A huge thank you to Fr. Winkle and the parish team for facilitating such a beautiful and moving prayer service, which included a special remembrance and prayers for our loved ones who have passed away.

Our sincere thanks also go to the Music Department and our Senior Choir for their beautiful singing and music, which added so much to the occasion. We are also very grateful to the SMG Sisters for kindly facilitating lunch.

Bishop Crean was delighted to meet so many members of our school community, both students and staff, throughout the day. It was a truly special occasion for St. Aloysius’ College, and we look forward to welcoming him back again soon.

Finally, a very special thank you to our Chaplain, Ms. McCarthy, for organising such a wonderful day, and to everyone who contributed to making Bishop Crean’s visit such a memorable occasion.

A day of faith, prayer and community spirit that will be fondly remembered by all.
