April is Autism Awareness Month
Our Homeroom students have been busy creating thoughtful and informative posters to help raise awareness about autism. Through this project, they explored what autism is, challenged common misconceptions, and highlighted the importance of understanding, acceptance, and inclusion.
As part of their work, students also researched and showcased well-known autistic individuals from around the world, celebrating their achievements and contributions across a variety of fields. This helped to reinforce an important message: autism is not a limitation, but a different way of experiencing and interacting with the world.
These posters are now proudly displayed throughout our school, helping to spark conversations and encourage our whole school community to learn more, show empathy, and embrace neurodiversity.
We are very proud of the effort, creativity, and compassion shown by our students in this meaningful project
