Pride and Determination on Display in Munster Final!

We are incredibly proud of our Junior Soccer Team who represented the school with great determination and pride in the Munster Final on Tuesday against a strong side from Carrigtwohill Community College (CCC).

The final took place in St. Coleman's Park, providing a fantastic setting for what proved to be an exciting and closely contested match. From the first whistle, both teams displayed excellent skill, teamwork, making it a highly competitive and entertaining game.

Our girls showed tremendous resilience throughout the match and never stopped battling. Their hard work and commitment were rewarded when Clara (2nd year) found the back of the net with a superbly taken goal, giving the team a well-deserved boost and ensuring a tense finish. Despite their relentless effort and determination, the game concluded with a narrow 2–1 victory for CCC.

While the result did not go our way, the performance, attitude and spirit shown by our players throughout the campaign have been outstanding. Reaching a Munster Final is a fantastic achievement, and each member of the panel should be extremely proud of their contribution and commitment to the team.

We would also like to thank their coaches, Mr. Driscoll, Mr. Murphy & Mr. Linehan and out supporters who travelled to cheer the team on.

Finally, we wish our neighbours at CCC the very best of luck in the All-Ireland Semi-Final.
