Sports Round-Up
It has been another busy and successful week for our school teams, with impressive performances across tennis, camogie, and soccer.
Tennis
On Monday, our U14 tennis team delivered an outstanding performance against a strong ArdScoil na Mara side in Tramore. The team showed great determination, skill, and composure throughout the match, securing a well-deserved victory. This excellent result means they now progress to the Quarter Finals after Easter, a fantastic achievement and a testament to their hard work and commitment.
Camogie
Tuesday saw our 1st year camogie team take to the field against Scoil Pól, Kilfinnan. In what was a highly competitive game, our girls put in a superb performance. Despite a narrow defeat, the team displayed great teamwork, resilience, and spirit, with many positives to take forward for the rest of the season.
Soccer
Thursday brought exciting action for our 1st Year soccer team, who secured a thrilling win on penalties against CCC. After a tightly fought match, the team held their nerve in the shootout, showing great confidence and composure to come out on top. Congratulations to all involved on a fantastic victory.
The week concluded on Friday with a brilliant performance from our Junior soccer team, who recorded an impressive win over Christ King. The team played with great energy and teamwork, resulting in a well-earned and convincing victory.
Overall, it has been a week full of effort, determination, and success across all teams. Well done to all our players and coaches. Keep up the great work!
