Supporting Local Biodiversity Through Native Tree Planting

Our TY Biology and Science Club students recently took part in an environmental initiative, planting 25 native hedging trees as part of the Coill na nÓg Native Tree and Hedgerow Planting Programme, in partnership with eFlow.

Students worked collaboratively to plant a diverse range of native species, including hawthorn, blackthorn, hazel, crab apple, elder and guelder rose. This initiative will help to enhance local biodiversity and support wildlife in the area for years to come.

We are very proud of our students for their enthusiasm, teamwork and commitment to environmental stewardship. Well done to all involved.
