A busy and exciting week of sport across the school, here’s your full round-up of all the action:

First Year Football:

Our 1st Years put in a fantastic display against Youghal on Monday. The team showed excellent teamwork and determination. Despite a narrow defeat, there were many positives to take from the performance, and the players should be very proud of their efforts.

Senior Football:

A brilliant result for our Senior team on Monday, securing a great win over Mount Mercy. The girls played with real intensity and skill throughout. A well-deserved victory, congratulations to all involved!

Junior Hockey:

Our Junior Hockey team travelled to Newtown on Tuesday afternoon for a very competitive match. It was a tight contest from start to finish, with the girls working hard and creating good chances. Although the result was a narrow defeat, the team showed strong defensive organisation and plenty of improvement. Well done to the squad for a committed performance.

Junior Camogie:

The Junior Camogie team were in action on Tuesday against Ballincollig CS. Despite a determined performance and great work rate, the girls were unlucky to come out on the wrong side of the result.
Their County Final vs. Pres Mitchelstown, originally scheduled for tonight, has been postponed due to a weather warning.
🗓️ The final will now take place next Tuesday at 7pm in Mahon. Best of luck to the team as they prepare, all support welcome!

Senior Camogie:

A fantastic achievement for our Senior Camogie team, who booked their place in the Munster Semi-Final after a superb win over Scariff in Midleton on Wednesday. The girls put on an impressive display, combining strong defence with sharp scoring to secure the victory. We wish them the very best as they continue their Munster campaign!

Well done to all players and coaches for another great week of school sport.
