Exploring Third-Level Opportunities in Limerick

Our Fifth Year students, accompanied by some Sixth Year students, travelled to Limerick today to attend the Open Days at the University of Limerick (UL) and Mary Immaculate College (MIC).

The visits provided students with a valuable opportunity to explore both campuses, learn about the wide range of courses available, and discover the facilities and supports offered to students pursuing third-level education. They were also able to gain an insight into campus life, gather information about potential study options, and begin considering the pathways available to them after secondary school.

An added highlight of the day was meeting some of our past pupils and hearing about their experiences of third-level education. These conversations offered our students a valuable insight into university and college life and helped them to consider the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

It was an informative and enjoyable day, encouraging students to explore their interests, consider their future ambitions, and take a positive step towards making informed decisions about their educational and career pathways.
