London Tour 🇬🇧
From London with Love - St. Al's hits London!
An early start at Cork Airport this morning didn't dampen the excitement as our second group of 2nd Years jetted off to London! After touching down, they hit the ground running with a fantastic day of sightseeing; taking in iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Westminster, and Trafalgar Square.
That evening they ate at the legendary Hard Rock Cafe, before ending the day with a magical performance of Wicked The Musical! 🎭🎶
Day 2:
We kicked things off with an inspiring visit to the Science Museum, where curiosity came to life. Then we soared above the city on the London Eye, taking in breathtaking views of the capital. After all that excitement, it was time to unwind with a scenic River Thames cruise, seeing London from a whole new angle.
As evening set in, our students stepped back in time with a chilling Jack the Ripper walking tour through historic London streets. To finish the day, everyone is enjoying a well-earned three-course dinner at Milanos.
Day 3:
We started off with a guided tour of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre where we saw where the students’ studied play, The Merchant of Venice, was performed. We then had a nail-biting experience on the cloud cable which travelled over the Thames. We then arrived at Westfield London’s largest shopping centre where Sephora and Wingstop are top of the list.
What an incredibly jam packed 3 days!
Thank you to our students for being true ambassadors of St Al’s and to our teachers for making this trip possible.
