Sports Update
A quieter week on the sports front, with Hockey taking centre stage.
🏑 Hockey:
Our 1st Year Hockey team got their season off to a great start with a draw against St. Angela’s in their opening game. A fantastic team effort, with Rose and Elizabeth both getting on the scoresheet. Well done girls!
Our Senior Hockey team enjoyed a thrilling Cup victory over St. Angela’s, winning on shuttles to progress to the next round of the competition. Emma and India were on target during the game, while Áine made some outstanding saves during the shuttles to secure the win. A superb performance all round. Well done team!
🍀 Best of luck to our 1st/2nd Year Basketballers, Junior Soccer team, and Senior Hockey team and our 22 runners competing in the South Munster Schools Cross County, all back in action next week. We wish you every success!
