Sports Update

It has been another busy and exciting week on the sporting front, with great commitment and determination shown by all our teams.

A huge well done to our Junior Hockey team on their excellent 1–0 victory over Mount Mercy. It was a tightly contested match, with strong defending and great teamwork throughout securing a well-deserved win.

Our U19 tennis team also put in a fantastic performance in their match against Regina Mundi. Despite a very narrow loss, the standard of play was extremely high, and the team can be very proud of their effort and resilience.

Hard luck to our 1st Year camogie team who were unlucky in their match against Mitchelstown. The players showed great spirit, skill, and determination, and their effort and teamwork were evident from start to finish.

Finally, congratulations to our Senior Gaelic Football team on their impressive 7-point win over GCC, Glanmire today. This was a strong and confident performance, highlighting their hard work and preparation.

Well done to all teams and coaches for their continued dedication and commitment to school sport.
