Student Council Update
Our Junior Student Council Members
Yesterday our Student Council members travelled to the Comhairle Na Nóg AGM at the Cork County Hall. Council members participated in walking debates, presentations on issues impacting on young people in Ireland and the key address was delivered by Cllr. Mary Linehan Foley, Mayor of the County of Cork.
Recently, Eileen Martin, former History and Geography teacher and Student Council Coordinator at St Aloysius’ College, popped in to meet our Student Council and lead an engaging discussion titled 'Politics and Me' supporting our students understanding of politics today and how to navigate their own political journeys into the future. Thanks to Eileen for leading this engaging and informative discussion.
